Biography
Françoise Blum is a research engineer at the Centre d'histoire sociale des mondes contemporains. She has worked and is working on social movements in sub-Saharan Africa in the 1960s, and on African socialisms. She is involved in research projects (ANR) on the Cité universitaire internationale and on trade unionism in Africa. She is also responsible for the "Maitron Africa" online dictionary which gathers records on African activists.
