Mariano Plotkin got his BA in Economics in 1984 (Universidad de Buenos Aires); his M.A at the University of California, Berkeley (1989); and PhD at the University of California, Berkeley (1992). He is Principal Researcher at the CONICET and professor of History at the Universidad Nacional de Tres de Febrero. He was visiting professor at many European, American and Latin American universities and published extensively on the history of psychoanlisis. He was awarded a Guggenheim Fellowship (2010).
