Biography
Mariana de Moraes Silveira is Associate Professor of Theory of History and History of Historiography at the Federal University of Minas Gerais (Belo Horizonte, Brazil), where she contributes to Brasiliana Project: Writings and readings of the nation and Studium Iuris: Research group on the History of Legal Culture. She received her PhD in Social History from the University of São Paulo and has worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Max Planck Institute for European Legal History (Germany).
