Biography
Stéphanie Gonçalves is an historian, postdoctoral researcher at the Belgian National Fund for Scientific Research at the Université libre de Bruxelles. In 2015, she defended a PhD on the cultural diplomacy of ballet during the Cold War (Danser pendant la guerre froide, 1945-1968, Presses Universitaires de Rennes, 2018). She is a specialist of the link between dance and politics in the 20th century and is interested in the transnational circulations of dancers.
