Biography
Monica Bravo specializes in the history of photography and modern art of the Americas. Her research has been supported by the American Council of Learned Societies, American Philosophical Society, Center for Advanced Study in the Visual Arts, Center for Creative Photography, Georgia O'Keeffe Research Center, Getty Research Institute, Harry Ransom Center, Huntington Library and Art Collections, Terra Foundation, and Wyeth Foundation. She is an inaugural co-chair of Photography Network.
